About the project
As part of the development of permanent installations, Electroson Studio was selected by the City of Cavaillon to create 3 fixed video projection installations in the heart of the city centre.
Inaugurated at the beginning of December 2022 as part of the Christmas illuminations Once upon a time… Christmas in Cavaillon, these 3 installations aim to make residents and tourists rediscover the emblematic facades of the city, through video loops and a media of Christmas of 5 minutes, on the facade of the Porte d'Avignon, as well as the main facade and the side facade of the Hôtel Dieu de Cavaillon.
Video mapping
Video mapping is a technique that allows you to project videos on all types and sizes of surfaces.
Whatever the building, the projection plays on the optical illusion between the real relief and the virtual second skin.
The video mapping increases and sublimates the architecture it illuminates.
